This walkthrough showcases the entire environment, from the entrance of the village through the Swordsmith's workshop, as well the empty coral and stables area and finally through the Samurai Castle.
This was a first iteration for a game that is being built during my internship. The build was well received however, the team decided to go with a 2D map rather than a pixelated 3D map, due to browser compatibility issues. The build features a post processing material with parameters to adjust the width and height of the resolution. I also added a collision box to trigger a fixed camera in the bottom office to create a sense of surveillance.
The assets for this level were made in Photoshop and then imported to Construct to build the level. I would like to go back at some point of course to finish at least 5 levels of this game and make it available to the public in addition to adding to my other game as a mini game.
This is a game project that I am currently working on with a team member. My roll in the project has been as a project lead, building and integrating assets into the Gadot Game Engine and learning how to use the Engine as I move forward in the process since this is the first time I've used it. The assets I have built so far for this are the computers, desks, signs and the modular part that make up the walls, floor, stairs and rails. The navigation, lighting and map programming were also my work.
The assets for this game were made by myself and a team member in Adobe Illustrator and the game engine was Construct. In this project I was responsible for integration to the Game engine as well as creating all of the animations and Enemy Character. I also created the Start Menu and Button Animation.
